Are you ready to take ownership of technical solutions in a cutting-edge engineering environment? Our client is looking for a Lead Test Equipment Engineer to drive the development and delivery of test equipment solutions in a high-tech, collaborative setting.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Own the creation and delivery of technical solutions within defined work packages, ensuring alignment with stakeholder requirements.
  2. Capture and prioritise stakeholder needs to develop optimal solutions.
  3. Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure architectural alignment across the programme.
  4. Guide and support the team in applying best practices for test equipment design.
  5. Identify and resolve emerging challenges, escalating risks where necessary.
  6. Foster collaboration across teams, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
  7. Coach, mentor, and upskill engineers to enhance technical capabilities.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Proven experience in leading technical solution development within multi-disciplinary teams.
  2. Ability to analyse stakeholder needs and guide solutions for future operational environments.
  3. Strong experience in the full design lifecycle.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  5. Experience working with customers and suppliers across various disciplines and levels of seniority.
  6. A commitment to engineering best practices and innovation.
  7. Passion for coaching and developing others.
  8. Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills.
