Job summary

Aqua Cooling Solutions is seeking a Lead Test Engineer for a warehouse-based role in Chandlers Ford/Romsey. You will verify refrigeration circuits, conduct functional tests on hire chillers, and perform electrical safety checks to ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Verify correct operation of refrigeration circuits and identify abnormal operating conditions
• Carry out full functional testing of hire chillers
• Complete electrical safety checks and visual inspections
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment
• Record test results, faults, repairs and outstanding issues accurately
• Prioritise workload efficiently to increase the productivity within the test bay
• Escalate major faults immediately to the Warehouse Manager
• Provide technical guidance to warehouse staff and other engineers where required
• Ensure all chillers released for hire meets the company’s quality and safety standards
• Able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable adjustment. Heavy lifting and standing / walking for long periods of time
• Forklift license and experience beneficial but not essential.
• Basic knowledge of Outlook
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Good time keeping and time management skills
• Good communication skills and ability to work well as a team and on your own.
• Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
• Eager to learn and develop skills
• Attention to detail and takes pride in their work

Job Role: Lead Test Engineer (Warehouse Based)

Salary: £35,913 (dependent on experience)
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Location: Chandlers Ford/Romsey
