Job summary

inMusic Brands, Inc. in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a Lead Test Automation Developer to establish and lead a new test automation squad for our music production products.

You will own the technical direction and be hands-on in delivering it, selecting tools, building infrastructure, and setting working practices for product squads across the Music Production team. This role can be permanently based at our Cambridge office or hybrid home/office based, and you must qualify for employment in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong test automation experience and maintainable regression suites.
• Proficient in C++ and Python scripting.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI pipelines, ideally Jenkins.
• Ability to lead a small squad and plan deliverables.
• Excellent debugging and technical communication.
• Fluent English, strong writing skills.
• Interest in music technology and audio workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted test generation and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead a new squad delivering the test automation initiative.
• Select, implement, maintain automation framework, toolchain, and coding standards.
• Design and build the CI integration with multi-platform agents.
• Develop initial regression suite for pilot project.
• Publish and maintain live coverage dashboard for automation progress.
• Plan and track squad work with Jira.
• Govern the use of AI-assisted test generation and prompts.
• Collaborate with Director of Software Development and QA to promote adoption.
