Job summary

inMusic is seeking a Lead Test Automation Developer to establish and lead a new automation squad for our music production products. You will own the technical direction and be hands-on in delivering it.

This role can be permanently based at our Cambridge UK office or hybrid home/office based. You must qualify for employment in the UK, and you will design the automation framework, CI pipelines, and regression suites while providing clear visibility through dashboards.

Qualifications

• Strong test automation experience across products and platforms.
• Proficient in C++ and scripting languages (Python).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Interest in music technology and creator tools.
• Ability to lead a small squad and drive delivery with stakeholders.
• Experience designing CI pipelines and test automation tooling (Jenkins).

Responsibilities

• Lead a new automation squad delivering the music production test initiative.
• Select, implement, and maintain the automation framework and toolchain.
• Design and build the CI integration and multi-platform agents.
• Develop the initial regression suite and establish patterns for squads.
• Publish and maintain live coverage dashboards for visibility into progress and quality.
• Plan and track work with Jira; govern AI-assisted test generation and review.
• Collaborate with Director of Software Development, product squads, and QA.
