Job summary

Experis - ManpowerGroup seeks a Principal Test Development Engineer to lead automated test development for NI-based ATE systems in Ashford. You will mentor engineers, shape test capability, and deliver robust test solutions for complex subsystems.

You will apply TestStand and LabVIEW skills, drive DFx across product development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure production readiness and reliability.

Qualifications

• Hands-on TestStand and automated functional test systems.
• Experience with LabVIEW in test environments.
• Proven background in ATE design, support or test development.
• Electronics engineering knowledge with schematics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance NI-based Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems.
• Lead design, development and verification of automated test solutions using TestStand, LabVIEW and FlexStand.
• Design test fixtures and commission new test capability for products and subsystems.
• Embed Design for Test (DFT) principles into new product development.
• Provide technical leadership within your test engineering discipline.
• Mentor and support engineers to raise capability across the team.
• Develop documentation, processes and future test strategies to support production and new product introduction.
