Job summary

TKMS ATLAS UK is recruiting a Test & Acceptance Engineer to join our Dorset Innovation Park team. You will lead testing activities, develop plans and documentation, and coordinate a small team to ensure products meet technical, quality and compliance standards in a maritime and defence setting.

The role involves supporting system integration, test data analysis and provision of testing expertise across projects, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to the Test & Acceptance strategy.

Qualifications

• Engineering background with testing, verification or acceptance experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles for multidisciplinary projects.
• Experience with customer acceptance of engineering products.
• Understanding of electrical and/or mechanical testing.
• Defence standards knowledge (DEF-STAN, MIL-STD) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate test activities and phases across projects.
• Manage a small team of Test Engineers and allocate resources.
• Develop test plans, procedures, schedules and reports.
• Plan and deliver verification and qualification testing within budgets and timescales.
• Ensure testing compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Support customer acceptance of products and maintain documentation.
