Description: We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly skilled specialist to join our Operations team as a Lead Critical Facilities Engineer (CFE Level VI). This day-time role involves developing innovative concepts within our Data Centres, engaging with UK and Global stakeholders to improve operational performance and customer experience.

Ideal candidates thrive on complex assignments, possess self-motivation, and are capable of independent action. You will support the team, drive change, and develop new operational ideas.

Role Scope:
  • Management Structure & People Management: Support IBX manager and site supervisors in daily operations, serving as second point of contact when needed.
  • Site Operations & Project Involvement: Engage in site build activities, manage project schedules, liaise with vendors, and coordinate project timelines.
  • Customer Interaction: Act as a customer-facing representative, participate in key meetings, and serve as an escalation point during incidents.
  • Incident Management: Provide technical support during incidents, direct response efforts, and collaborate with the team to ensure effective incident resolution.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Assist in hiring processes and provide team support, with flexibility to cover incidents.
