As a Tech Lead, you are someone who takes ownership and makes an impact by operating with the mindset, integrity, and courage of a start-up business. You will temper that mindset with an understanding of how a large organization works and the acceptable risks to ensure the software developed has the uptime and performance expected by our customers.

You will play a key role in the success of the organization and lead a team responsible for continually improving the company’s application performance, working towards the successful execution of high-impact projects.

We expect you to view challenges from many perspectives and create strategies and solutions that are technically sound and also consider regulatory, commercial, and organizational aspects when appropriate.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in full-stack software development and cloud technologies, capable of leading a multidisciplinary tech team to deliver robust software that delights our customers.

• Shape work for yourself and your team, guiding deliverables and contributing to the codebase
• Communicate complex technical solutions to stakeholders and interpret business requirements into technical specifications
• Design and implement end-to-end solutions including cloud hosting, Kubernetes, tooling, QA, release, and change management
• Design, implement, and deploy cloud-native solutions
• Configure and run Kubernetes clusters on various platforms (on-premise and cloud)
• Mitigate potential points of failure in frontend and API layers according to client guidelines
• Ensure reuse of Angular pattern libraries
• Collaborate with security teams to uphold standards
• Aim for zero downtime during deployments
• Develop processes for scaling, capacity planning, configuration management, and monitoring
• Drive automation and maintain high-quality monitoring coverage
• Embrace the "you build it, you run it" mindset

What experience you'll bring:

• Leadership & management: guiding a team of engineers to deliver projects on time and to high standards
• Technical expertise: deep knowledge in Angular, DevOps, Node.js
• Project management: coordinating across departments, managing timelines and resources
• Continuous improvement: enhancing processes, tools, and technologies
• Mentorship: supporting team members' growth through coaching and reviews
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Microservices Architecture (MSA)
• Proficiency in Node.js, Angular (preferably Angular 17), REST APIs, and API specifications
• Experience with testing frameworks, automation tools like Cypress, and API testing
• Knowledge of security protocols (CSRF, CORS, OAuth 2, OIDC)
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and databases (SQL/NoSQL)
• Performance optimization and API management experience

• Extensive full-stack experience, especially with GCP
• Proven leadership in technical teams, minimizing tech debt
• 6+ years with Angular, Node.js, and CI/CD pipelines (preferably GitLab)
• Strong foundation in engineering languages, platforms, and frameworks
• Passion for detail-oriented improvements and innovation
• Experience in fast-moving, innovative tech companies
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical discipline
