Job summary

BGIS is seeking a Technical Contract Manager to lead engineering operations for a key site in Central London. You will drive technical performance, oversee PPM, and ensure compliance with safety and client requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, complex site FM experience, and a proven ability to manage P&L, budgets, and stakeholder relationships. You will work with senior management to deliver high-quality service and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• HNC or above in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience delivering hard FM services on a complex site.
• Experience managing contracts in Central London.
• Experience leading engineering teams.
• Strong technical knowledge of building services plant and systems.
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills.
• Experience with CAFM, asset management and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop technical and operational aspects of the contract at a key Central London site.
• Ensure H&S compliance and safe working practices across the engineering team.
• Maintain strong client relationships and attend monthly client meetings.
• Provide weekly/ monthly reporting and project updates to management.
• Oversee PPM planning and compliance with HVCA SFG20 guidelines.
• Direct engineering teams and manage P&L, WIP and budget control.
