MADFINGER Games is seeking a Lead Technical Artist for our Brno-based studio to lead and mentor a team of technical artists. You will bridge art and programming, push Unreal Engine 5 capabilities, and optimize real-time visuals and performance across the project.

You will collaborate with the Art Director and engineers to establish high artistic and technical standards, develop workflows, tools, and pipelines, and ensure seamless integration from environment design to VFX.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a Senior/Lead Technical Artist role.
• Extensive hands-on Unreal Engine 5 experience, at least one full cycle.
• Deep understanding of real-time graphics performance optimization.
• Experience with procedural content generation, VFX, lighting, and shaders.
• Mastery of Unreal Engine art pipeline, materials, and shaders.

Responsabilités

• Lead and mentor a team of technical artists, bridging art and programming across the project.
• Oversee and guide technical art solutions balancing visual quality, performance, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Art Director and project leads to maintain high artistic and technical standards.
• Develop and optimize workflows, tools, and pipelines for the entire art team, including VFX and environments.
• Push Unreal Engine capabilities to advance real-time graphics across the game.
