Allen Lane is supporting a Central Government organisation in their search for a Lead Technical Architect, responsible for technical assurance.

The postholder will ensure the organisation's transformation projects align with strategic goals while maintaining high standards of security and quality.

You will serve as the "intelligent customer" and the primary technical expert in solution architecture.

Applicants must have recent, excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Azure tech stack, cloud solutions, and cyber-security best practices. The essential criteria include:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical assurance lead role or similar capacity.
2. Experience with the Microsoft stack, including Office 365, Azure, Dynamics 365 CRM, and SharePoint.
3. Experience working with cloud-based solutions such as SaaS or PaaS.
4. Proven ability to liaise with stakeholders to translate business requirements into relevant artefacts.
5. Experience working with Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) products to meet business needs.
6. A solid understanding of current technology trends and marketplace products.
7. Proven experience in Solution Architecture and assurance of High- and Low-Level technical designs.
8. Understanding of infrastructure, communications, and security technologies.
9. Experience with cyber solutions supporting business to mitigate cyber risks within a best practice controls framework.
10. Experience with environments using Microsoft technologies like Windows, SQL Server, Active Directory, BizTalk, and Exchange.
11. Ability to describe an organisation's data architecture using tools such as logical data models and entity relationship diagrams.
12. Ability to influence change within teams or individuals, providing coaching, mentoring, guidance, and advice as needed.
