Job Title: Lead Teacher or Head of Computer Science Location: Nottingham, UK Employment Type: Full-Time (Long-Term/Permanent Potential) Salary: 180- 250 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is working with a progressive secondary school in Nottingham to recruit a Lead Teacher or Head of Computer Science. This is an exceptional opportunity to take ownership of a thriving department and shape the digital futures of young learners.

This position is available from September, with long-term or permanent potential for the right candidate.

About the Role:
You'll lead and teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons and supporting the growth of computing across the school. A strong grasp of programming, systems architecture, and e-safety is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Computer Science staff and drive curriculum development.

  • Deliver high-quality computing lessons that inspire digital confidence.

  • Monitor achievement and implement data-driven improvement strategies.

  • Promote inclusive, modern digital learning practices.
