Job summary

Schroders in Horsham, West Sussex, United Kingdom, is seeking a Lead Analyst to join the Tax team on a 12-month contract. You will lead accurate and timely production of tax reporting for multiple entities and contribute to tax-related projects, ensuring efficiency and high professional standards.

You will oversee the team’s work, handle complex issues with IT and Operations, and manage risk while collaborating with partners to optimise workflows in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead on production of UK Tax Packs, Profit/Loss Reports, and related tax statements.
• Oversee day-to-day team work, prioritise tasks and 1:1 check-ins where appropriate.
• Coordinate with Front Office, IT and Operations to optimise tax workflows.
• Assist with implementation of new tax rules and high-volume processing while managing risk.
