Job Summary:

Telent is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join the Network Services division. The role involves working with new technologies, supporting both On-Prem and Azure Cloud environments, and requires UK Security Clearance due to the government client. Responsibilities include building customer relationships, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and supporting professional services and sales activities related to Cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical lead for customer accounts
• Mentor and coach internal teams
• Train staff and customers on On-prem and Azure solutions
• Manage incident reports and highlight security threats
• Maintain comprehensive documentation
• Support Proof of Concept, Type Approval, and change testing
• Lead in design and documentation of network solutions
• Participate in customer meetings and project reviews
• Contribute to value-add projects and innovations
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and reporting
• Adhere to GDPR and security policies

Candidate Profile:

• Experience with Data Centre and Cloud Infrastructure support
• Proficiency in Cloud, On-prem, and Azure environments
• Strong work ethic, ownership, and collaborative skills
• Passion for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
• Customer-facing attitude

Qualifications:

• VCIX -VMWare Certified Implementation Expert (desirable)
• VCP -VMWare Certified Professional 6 & 6.1 (required)
• MSCE: Cloud Platform & Infrastructure or equivalent
• MSCE: Productivity or equivalent
