Job summary

Cirrus Selection seeks a Lead Systems Engineer to own requirements verification, system integration and certification for safety‑critical programmes. You will work across systems, software and hardware with multidisciplinary teams to ensure products meet strict customer requirements.

You will develop verification strategies, write detailed test procedures, investigate issues and generate evidence for product acceptance, with a focus on DOORS usage and rigorous documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading verification across the engineering lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of verification strategies and test procedure development.
• Familiarity with multidisciplinary teams and complex safety‑critical programmes.

We're looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to take ownership of requirements verification, system integration and certification activities on sophisticated, safety‑critical technology programmes.

This is a varied role where you will work across systems, software and hardware, collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure products meet demanding technical and customer requirements.

You will play a key role in developing verification strategies, creating test procedures, investigating technical issues and generating the evidence needed to support successful product acceptance.

What you will be doing

• Leading requirements verification activities across the engineering lifecycle
• Developing verification strategies and detailed test procedures
• Working closely with systems, software, electronics and mechanical engineering teams
• Managing verification activities within laboratory environments
• Using IBM DOORS and other requirements management tools
• Investigating faults and supporting technical problem resolution
• Managing defects through to successful closure
• Producing technical reports and verification evidence
• Supporting product certification and customer acceptance
• Reviewing engineering documentation and ensuring technical accuracy
• Managing your own work packages, delivering against quality, schedule and cost objectives
