What You’ll Do:

• Guide, mentor, and allocate work across a team of Systems Engineers, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support.
• Own the development and delivery of engineering solutions across multiple projects, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and compliance standards.
• Evolve and enhance systems engineering methods, tools, and capabilities to support current and future programmes.
• Lead the design and implementation of system architectures, develop key systems documentation, and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Work closely with hardware and software teams to deliver integrated solutions with modularity and reuse in mind.
• Present at internal and external reviews, manage customer and supplier interactions, and support bids with accurate technical inputs and risk assessments.
• Ensure all outputs meet internal quality standards and security requirements, and actively review and approve technical documentation.

What You Bring:

• Deep experience applying Systems Engineering practices in complex engineering environments.
• Strong background in requirements development, system design, integration, and verification.
• Track record of producing high-quality technical documentation and leading formal reviews.
• Previous experience in defence or other highly regulated sectors is advantageous.
• Degree in engineering, science, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience.
