Job summary

DCS Recruitment is seeking a Senior Surveyor for Chester, field-based and permanent. You will lead diverse surveying projects, perform measured building surveys and 3D laser scanning, and deliver accurate data to clients across sectors.

The role blends technical delivery with client engagement, offering influence over the surveying department's growth. Degree in Surveying/Geomatics and a UK driving licence are required, with willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Surveying or Geomatics.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Willingness to travel across the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver measured building surveys.
• Carry out topographical surveys.
• Undertake 3D laser scanning projects.
• Complete engineering surveys, monitoring and setting out.
• Operate Total Stations and laser scanning equipment.
• Process survey data and produce accurate deliverables.
• Liaise directly with clients throughout survey projects.
• Plan and manage survey activities from site through to final delivery.
• Support business development by building strong client relationships.
• Assist in the future growth and development of the surveying department.
