Plowman Craven Limited is seeking a Lead Surveyor to guide survey teams within Digital Construction – Property on diverse projects. You will provide technical oversight, assist with planning, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Ideal candidates will have strong surveying experience, a track record of leading teams, and a proactive approach to developing others while coordinating project delivery and client communication.

Qualifications

• Proven track record supervising survey teams and coordinating projects.
• Experience reviewing survey data against technical specs and quality standards.
• Ability to plan resources, timelines and manage multiple projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead the surveying and technical delivery of multiple projects, ensuring QA and safety standards.
• Review survey data before handover to authoring teams and arrange independent checks as required.
• Line manage, mentor and coach junior surveyors and surveyors, supporting development objectives.
• Work with Head of Survey to introduce new survey technologies and strengthen data collection skills.
• Select survey methods/equipment, build timelines, allocate resources to meet programme and commercial objectives.
• Coordinate subcontractors with Project Managers and monitor technical quality and delivery.
• Communicate progress and requirements clearly to clients, Project Managers and the Survey Manager.
• Maintain organised project datasets in line with company filing and archiving rules.
