Job description

Job Title: Lead Surgical Nurse

Reporting to: Head of Nursing Services

Location: Solihull

Hours: 38 hours per week

Salary: Will be discussed dependent on experience

About the Role

We are seeking a Lead Surgical RVN to join our team at Willows Referrals. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of post-qualification experience, including leadership experience. You should be an excellent communicator, highly organized, and comfortable working autonomously in a busy hospital environment.

The Lead Nurse is crucial to maintaining high clinical standards, ensuring effective patient management from a nursing perspective, and supporting the growth of the practice.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will demonstrate excellent nursing protocols and take overall responsibility for specific areas of the practice. You will organize and oversee patient flow daily, optimize patient pathways from admission to discharge, and ensure adherence to practice and group policies to provide outstanding patient and client care.

You will collaborate with the Head of Nursing Services and identify training and development needs within the nursing team, managing the team effectively across the business.
