Lead Support Worker - Railway Terrace, North Shields

Position Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hpw)

Pay: £13.21 per hour (£25,838 per annum) + great benefits including Health Cash Plan

About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting individuals with complex needs to live more independently? As our Lead Support Worker, you'll play a central role in creating support plans, coordinating a team of Support Workers, and helping customers achieve their personal goals. Your work will make a meaningful difference in their lives.

Typical Day
  1. Create and review support plans with customers.
  2. Assist with daily activities such as cooking, shopping, budgeting, and tenancy maintenance.
  3. Conduct risk assessments, support planning, and goal setting.
  4. Engage in meaningful conversations and build strong relationships.
What You Bring
  • Passion for empowering customers and working collaboratively.
  • Experience in creating person-centered support plans.
  • Ability to coordinate and assess customer referrals.
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
