Job summary

The Sterling Choice is seeking a proactive professional to own supplier assurance for a food manufacturing group. You will shape supplier approval, audits, risk assessment and corrective actions while travelling internationally to auditors and understand supplier operations.

In this role you’ll connect Technical, Procurement and factory teams to translate audit data into practical supplier controls, ensuring compliance with evolving regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in food manufacturing supplier assurance, including supplier approval, auditing, risk assessment and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier assurance across the business, developing a practical, risk-based approval process.
• Audit suppliers and monitor performance; ensure information from audits, goods intake and supplier performance informs decisions.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Technical and factory teams to ensure supplier controls are practical, not just on paper.
• Travel internationally to carry out audits and understand supplier operations; drive improvements and corrective actions.
