Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Senior Engineer in New Technology & Product Development for Subsea Production Systems. You will drive the development of Subsea XT technologies from concept through qualification, coordinating cross-functional and global teams to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions.

You will apply CAD expertise, GD&T, and DFMA principles, mentoring engineers while exploring new opportunities and patents. A Chartered Engineers designation is desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (or equivalent).
• Strong CAD and detailed drawing experience; GD&T and DFA principles.
• Experience with 3D modeling and manufacturing-focused design.
• Chartered Engineer desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop Subsea XT technologies and solutions to meet customer needs.
• Create designs, drawings, BOMs, calculations, and lead qualification and system integration testing.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks and stakeholders across global teams.
• Provide technical guidance and peer reviews; mentor other engineers.
• Explore new ideas and patents; perform Freedom to Operate analysis.
