Job summary

Expert Employment Limited is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop subsea choke and valve systems for offshore environments. You will lead verification activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure performance and manufacturability.

The role requires experience in subsea chokes and valves, strong CAD skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. Hybrid working is offered with four days in the office and one day remote.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience in subsea chokes and valves within the energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of subsea production systems and industry standards.
• Experience with CAD and engineering systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Hybrid working (4 days office and 1 day remote).

Responsibilities

• Design and develop subsea choke and valve systems, including specifications and documentation.
• Lead verification, validation, and performance analysis activities.
• Establish and maintain product standards across projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance and manufacturability.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and resolve engineering issues.
• Manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality outputs on time.
• Mentor junior engineers and support team development.
