Job summary

First Recruitment Group is seeking a Principal Installation Engineer in the Sutton area for a large Oil & Gas client. The role focuses on leading subsea installation activities across deepwater projects, with in-office presence four days a week and one day from home.

You will manage installation scopes from Tender to Project, coordinate interfaces among clients, suppliers and offshore crews, and drive enablers for project success while mentoring engineers and contributing to standards.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership in offshore installation projects.
• Experience with subsea construction and deepwater projects.
• Strong practical and contractual management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation work packages on Tender, FEED or Project.
• Deliver scopes within budget and quality targets.
• Manage technical and commercial scope changes.
• Lead a team of engineers and develop their skills.
• Serve as technical point of contact for installation topics.
• Oversee preparation and installation of products; support offshore crew.
• Ensure client, supplier, offshore, and design interfaces are managed.
• Contribute to corporate standards and guidelines.
