Job summary

Carrington West is seeking a Sub-Agent to join the delivery team on a major UK infrastructure project. This freelance position is based on the Kent/Essex border and is inside IR35, offering a day rate of £550 for a long-term engagement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally on large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, construction regulations, and best practices.
• Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results against tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor subcontractor and self-delivered works to meet project milestones.
• Ensure quality standards are met across all deliverables.
• Liaise with environmental, commercial, and social teams to meet sustainability and community commitments.
• Manage budgets, procurement, design changes, and handover processes.
