Job Advert: Interior Design Lead Stylist

Location: Head Office Oldbury and other UK sites (travel required)

Employment Type: 5 days a week, Mon-Fri

Dapa Atelier Ltd is a dynamic and innovative interior design studio specialising in creating high quality show home and commercial designs across the UK. We are passionate about transforming spaces into visually captivating and functional environments. With a growing portfolio of projects, we are seeking a talented Lead Stylist to join our creative team.

The Role:

As a lead Stylist, you will play a key role in various projects. You will select, procure and curate styling elements and travel to site locations across the UK, styling and dressing properties to the highest standard. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a flair for design, a hands-on approach, and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, organise, and prepare styling items, including accessories, foliage and soft furnishings.
  • Order and manage stock of styling items.
  • Working closely with the designers and produce styling boards for presentations
  • Travel to site locations across the UK to style and dress properties and stay overnight where required.
  • Ensure all styling and dressing is completed within designated deadlines and meets Dapa Atelier’s high standards.
  • Maintain and organise styling inventory, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Ensuring to adhere to the set stylist budget for each project.
  • General administrative responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A valid UK driving license
  • A background in interior design, styling, or a related field.
  • An understanding of Microsoft 365 Office applications.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • CSCS Green Visitors qualification desirable but not essential – training will be provided.
  • Experience working on incomplete developments and building sites is desirable.
  • Creative flair with excellent attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
  • A positive, can-do attitude and a passion for interior design.
  • Experience with Adobe photoshop and InDesign would be advantageous.
