Job summary

AECOM in Edinburgh is growing its Structures team and is seeking Principal and Associate Structural Engineers to lead complex projects across Scotland's water and wastewater infrastructure, guiding design teams and coordinating across disciplines.

You’ll mentor engineers, shape technical direction, and deliver robust, sustainable solutions for multi-billion-pound programs while working in a flexible hybrid setup that supports career growth and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
• Experience in the design and construction of reinforced concrete structures and structural steelwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design on diverse projects and act as structural lead within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical directions across civil/structural disciplines.
• Collaborate with MEICA, hydraulic modelling and digital engineering teams to deliver solutions.
