Job summary

Remarkable Jobs are recruiting an experienced Senior / Associate Structural Engineer to join a growing team in Leicester. This is an exciting opportunity for either an established Associate or an ambitious Senior Structural Engineer looking to lead projects while staying hands-on.

You will provide technical leadership across projects, mentor engineers, manage programmes and maintain strong client relationships, with schemes typically reaching £45m+.

Qualifications

• Chartered engineer status (MIStructE/MICE) or close to achieving.
• Hands-on design and technical calculations across steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineers.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through to completion.
• Remain actively involved in technical calculations, design and delivery.
• Demonstrate strong design across steel, concrete, timber and masonry.
• Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage programmes, resources and technical standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and excellence.
