Pertemps is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in London to lead projects and a design team, acting as the main contact for third parties. You will guide junior engineers, liaise with contractors and architects, and communicate with clients, including site meetings.

Join a local team of about 25 engineers and technicians, working on housing, conservation and major city centre redevelopments up to £50m.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Proficiency with industry software Fastrak, Tedds and Tekla.

Responsabilités

• Leading projects and a design team and being the main point of contact for all third parties.
• Liaising with and providing direction to more junior members of the design team.
• Communicating with contractors and architects.
• Liaising with clients and answering queries.
• Attending site meetings.
• Gradually taking on more responsibility while moving into senior management.
