Cummins Inc in Darlington, UK is seeking an Analytical Structural and Dynamic Systems Tech Specialist to drive advanced simulations and design decisions. You will apply ANSYS, FE-Safe, AVL Excite, GT-Suite, MATLAB and Python to evaluate durability, fatigue life, and vibration, and lead validation with test data.

You will collaborate with Design, Validation, Materials, and Manufacturing teams, develop workflows, mentor engineers, and push digital engineering solutions.

Competenze

• Degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Significant experience in structural analysis, simulation, or product development.
• Experience supporting complex simulation and durability projects is desirable.

Mansioni

• Perform advanced numerical simulations to evaluate structural performance, durability, and fatigue life.
• Lead correlation and validation of simulations with physical test data.
• Collaborate with Design, Validation, Materials, and Manufacturing teams to deliver integrated solutions.
