We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Scheme Fund Accountant. The ideal candidate will possess high attention to detail and be preferably qualified with ACA/ACCA. They should have a proven track record in Fund Administration, Private Equity & Venture Capital, Asset Management, Co-Investment/Carried Interests, or Accounting, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

  1. Oversee entity-level financial, tax reporting, and regulatory reporting, including audits.
  2. Manage administrators to ensure financial reporting is accurate, timely, and reflects insights from the wider team.
  3. Ensure the accurate and timely processing of accounting entries related to transactions and bank activities, adhering to accounting standards.
  4. Conduct reconciliation of new fund schemes to fund legal documentation, ensuring alignment and accuracy. Document processes and maintain records for audit and compliance.
  5. Lead quarterly forecast processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams for accurate and timely forecast models.
  6. Manage company secretarial duties, including facilitating board meetings and ensuring compliance with corporate governance. Coordinate filings with regulatory authorities.
  7. Oversee Investran control framework and Employee Incentive Plan (“EIP”), ensuring effectiveness and compliance. Continuously improve controls and procedures.
  8. Coordinate fund GP processes for fund closings and finance transfers, ensuring seamless and timely execution.
  9. Support the Four-Eye review process for Limited Partnership Agreements for accuracy and compliance.
  10. Manage cash flow, liquidity, bridge facilities, and covenant reporting.
  11. Assist in implementing new in-house systems and procedures.

Key Requirements/Qualifications

You should have demonstrable experience in:

  • BSc/Ba, preferably with ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Experience with UK, European, or Asian closed-end fund structures using Lux GAAP.
  • Experience in Fund Administration, Private Equity & Venture Capital, Asset Management, Co-Investment/Carried Interests, or Accounting.
  • Operational excellence and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative and consultative approach.
  • Deep knowledge of fund financials and reporting issues.
  • Conscientious with excellent diligence.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, and proficiency in PowerPoint.
