A leading company is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design and engineering for static equipment and packages. The candidate will have a degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years of experience. Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead design and engineering for static equipment (e.g. pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, boilers, furnaces) and packages (e.g. PSA, cooling towers, scrubbers, conveyors, loading arms).
  • Review and check specifications, data sheets, calculations, and technical deliverables.
  • Prepare technical documentation and evaluate vendor bids.
  • Coordinate layout and interface matters with internal disciplines and external parties.
  • Review vendor documents, manage vendors, and support inspection and QA/QC requirements.
  • Participate in FATs, site surveys, HAZOPs, shop inspections, and provide support during construction and commissioning.
  • Identify improvements to work protocols and support department skill development.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ASME, storage tanks, boilers/furnaces, and industrial package design.
  • Familiar with engineering software such as PVElite and COMPRESS.
  • Strong coordination, planning, and communication skills.
  • Prior experience in field engineering, commissioning, and troubleshooting is required.
  • Familiarity with Shell DEPs, Exxon GPs, Chevron CES is an advantage.
  • Willing to work on-site or travel overseas if required.
