GE Vernova is seeking a Lead Static Commissioning Engineer to oversee static-commissioning specifications and execution at site. You will lead the control system installation, testing, and handover for HVDC projects, coordinating with the project team and customer to resolve issues.

The role requires experience in substation work, IEC61850, and strong communication. Travel up to 50% is expected to support sites and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Electronics/Electrical engineering or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for site coordination.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work in challenging environments.

Responsabilités

• Plan site installation and testing activities using Primavera/Smartsheet.
• Supervise installation at site and lead cable laying and termination.
• Configure, test and troubleshoot IEC61850 IED systems and HMIs.
• Ensure safety rules and project schedules are followed, with thorough documentation.
