As a Lead/Staff Product Analyst in our AI Financial Assistant pillar, you’ll be central to strategic decision-making. Collaborating with cross-functional leaders from Product, Design, Machine Learning, and Engineering, you’ll leverage user data and analytical techniques to enhance Cleo’s financial coaching services.

You’ll also be part of the wider data team, comprising 65 Machine Learning Engineers, Product Analysts, and Analytic Engineers, all dedicated to our mission.

We are looking for a self-starter, results-oriented, with proven success in using analytics to drive product growth and understanding.

  • Conduct deep analysis of the product ecosystem to understand user financial realities, improve AI interactions, and leverage chat for coaching.
  • Perform A/B tests and causal analyses to evaluate product changes’ impact on success metrics.
  • Influence product roadmaps through data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Define success metrics, set KPIs, and establish tracking systems.
  • Build models for user segmentation, customer lifetime value, etc.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineering to prioritize data modeling needs and contribute to our data codebase.
  • Promote analytics best practices, enhancing team capabilities for short and long-term success.
About you
  • Extensive analytics experience: 5+ years in data/analytics, with a track record of improving user engagement through insights and experimentation; experience with machine learning/conversational AI is a plus.
  • Impact-focused: Skilled in storytelling with data, guiding teams to focus on success metrics and influencing decision-making.
  • Experimentation and statistics knowledge: Experience with large-scale A/B testing, interpreting results, and understanding statistical methods; Python and ML skills are advantageous.
  • Metrics and initiative sizing: Proven ability to select relevant success metrics, decompose them into growth levers, and work with stakeholders for rapid feedback.
  • Technical skills: Excellent SQL, proficiency in Python for data analysis.
  • Data foundations: End-to-end understanding of data pipelines, tracking, data modeling, and dashboard creation.
  • Standard setter: Demonstrated impact in elevating data team standards and capabilities.
