Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Staff Nurse to lead a team and provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care in a residential setting. You will plan, assess, and evaluate residents’ needs and preferences while ensuring safe medication administration and ongoing treatment planning.

You will maintain regulatory standards, support the Service Manager, and mentor junior staff to ensure smooth daily operations within the home.

Qualifications

• Must hold current registration with the NMC.
• Relevant Nursing qualification required.
• Compassionate and caring attitude essential.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent nursing care and support to residents.
• Overseeing medicine management and safe administration of medication.
• Creating and carrying out treatment plans.
• Offer a safe, caring and stable environment for residents.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines.
• Support the Service Manager with targets and supervise staff and shifts.
• Mentor and guide other team members.
• Collaborate with the Manager to ensure smooth home operations.
