Job summary

ALECTO RECRUITMENT LTD in Surbiton, Surrey, is seeking a Lead Sprinkler Design Engineer with LPCB Basic qualifications to lead design of sprinkler systems for diverse projects. The role offers hybrid working with 1 day in the office.

You will take design responsibility across the project lifecycle, produce technical drawings, FC calcs, and coordinate models, with potential fast-track into leading a team.

Qualifications

• LPCB Basic Exam passed.
• Experience designing sprinkler systems per LPC Rules, NFPA, FM.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of sprinkler system designs for a variety of applications (Large works, small works, LPC Rules, NFPA, FM)
• Design responsibility throughout the project duration.
• Production of technical documentation, installation drawings and coordination models.
• FHC calculations
• Compliance with the relevant design standards and project specifications.

Salary: GBP65000 - GBP70000 per annum + Benefits Package

Location -Surbiton, Surrey

Permanent Position ( Hybrid )

Our client is a level 3 LPCB approved sprinkler contractor who are actively looking to hire a lead sprinkler design engineer with a minimum of LPCB basic exam completed. Still privately owned, the successful hire will be an integral part of the business as it continues to grow throughout 2026/27.

The role is offering hybrid working with 1 day in the office and the rest working from home/site. The successful applicant will also be fast tracked to managing a team of design engineers if this is something that is desired for career progression.
