Join Woodrowe House, a leading neurological complex care service, as a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. You will manage a specialist caseload of individuals with complex neurological needs, assessing and supporting Speech, Communication and Language Needs and Eating, Drinking and Swallowing needs.

Qualifications

Degree in Speech and Language Therapy is required.
HCPC registration and RCSLT membership are essential.
Competency to independently assess and manage EDS needs is essential.
Experience with acquired brain injury and neuroprogressive conditions is preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage a specialist caseload for individuals with complex neurological needs.
Deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention per the SLT pathway.
Lead for Speech and Language Therapy within the service and provide staff training.
Lead interventions and environmental approaches to improve communication and swallowing.
