Job summary

Cygnet Health Care is recruiting a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist to join Woodrowe House in Leicestershire. You will lead the SLT service within a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based assessment and intervention for clients with complex neurological conditions.

The role requires a degree in Speech and Language Therapy, HCPC registration, and RCSLT membership. You will provide training, contribute to patient care planning, and participate in service development and

Qualifications

Degree/postgraduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
HCPC registration to practice as SLT
Membership of the RCSLT (Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists)

Responsibilities

Manage a specialist caseload of individuals with complex neurological needs.
Assess and support Speech, Language and Swallowing needs (SCLN and EDS).
Lead the SLT input within the service and provide consultation to MDT.
Deliver evidence-based assessment and intervention per the Cygnet SLT Pathway.
Support staff training and competency development; lead environmental and communication strategies.
Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and research opportunities.
