Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust seeks an experienced podiatrist to deliver high-quality, specialist podiatry care for high-risk patients across hospital and community settings. You will plan and manage treatment for foot complications in diabetes, RA and vascular disease, and supervise newly qualified podiatrists and students.

A car is essential for community visits, with CPD and case discussions supported by the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing high-risk foot conditions such as diabetes, RA and vascular/Ischaemic disease.
• Autonomous practitioner capable of diagnosing and treating patients.
• Willingness to supervise junior podiatrists and students.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage treatment for foot complications within a multidisciplinary team.
• Work across hospital and community podiatry settings to provide specialised care.
• Participate in CPD sessions and clinical audits; contribute to service development.
• Report to the Podiatry Team Lead and ensure high-quality patient care.
