Job summary

EGO - Wyke is seeking a Sous Chef who is passionate about great food and developing a strong kitchen team. You’ll run a section, lead by example and step in for the Head Chef when needed, keeping service smooth and the menu on point.

With a focus on targets, training, and health and hygiene compliance, you’ll motivate colleagues, manage stock and ordering, and enjoy flexible shifts and staff discounts across our brands.

Qualifications

• Be driven to smash targets with your team.
• Train and inspire your team to deliver food to be proud of.
• Support your Head Chef with food ordering, food preparation and stock control.
• Have mastered the art of working with a branded menu.
• Have confidence in managing Chefs and the wider Kitchen Team.
• Oversee that your team conforms to health and hygiene regulations.

Responsibilities

• You'll run a section and ensure your team are working together as one.
• You will be the person to step up in leading the team in the absence of the Head Chef.
