Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to join their Enterprise IT Solution Architecture team during a period of high growth. You will define robust, cost-effective solution architectures that support business objectives and modernisation across a complex environment.

Location options include Preston (The Strand) or Frimley, with a remote pattern and onsite visits as required. This is a 12-month contract offering a competitive daily rate and the opportunity to drive

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering enterprise IT solutions and producing architecture deliverables.
• Strong experience across design, development, test and release of information systems.
• Knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (including Agile) and governance/assurance.
• Previous technical leadership experience (e.g., Technical Authority).

Responsibilities

• Define solution architecture and design for projects, meeting business/system requirements within cost and timescale constraints.
• Capture and define current-state and target-state application, data and technology architectures.
• Assure the overall functional and technical solution design is acceptable and fit for purpose.
• Communicate architecture and design effectively to stakeholders.
• Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers/product teams.
