Job description

The position is within our Software Design team and will be responsible for designing end-to-end solutions and providing governance for the overall design in conjunction with delivery partners.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and reviewing solutions utilizing D365, Power Platform & OpenEdge.
• Establishing governance and principles on the project level.
• Producing conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business, financial, and technology objectives through documentation of systems, architectures, process flows, and value-chains.
• Supporting bid and tender responses.
• Governance and design of a complete solution from inception through delivery to handover.
• Scoping, feasibility, and definition leading to solution design and configuration for the engagement.
• Promoting cooperation and facilitating coordination of all technical and non-technical streams within a programme to achieve successful delivery of an integrated solution.
• Communicating and presenting solutions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences via documentation and presentations.
• Supporting the Project/Programme manager/Director in understanding risks, dependencies, and issues, and their impact.
• Understanding project/deliverables from a business and benefits perspective and advising on areas of misalignment with the proposed solution.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven Solution Architecture experience.
• Proven D365 experience is essential.
• OpenEdge experience is a plus.
• Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business finances.
• Experience leading and mentoring project stakeholders in technology.
• Broad knowledge of solution areas such as transformation, migration, security, business analysis, applications, integration, infrastructure, and service management.
• Expertise in architectural principles and frameworks.
• Experience designing & implementing solutions as part of multi-stream change programmes.
• Experience in large change programmes involving key technology suppliers and their products.
