Job summary

Valoris Group is seeking a Technical Design & Project Manager to oversee commercial solar PV installations across the UK. The role combines project delivery, technical design review, commercial management and client engagement, with site travel and 1-2 days per week in the Duxford office.

You will manage projects from feasibility through installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring compliance with UK regulations and safety standards, while supporting sales and pursuing new opportunities in

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering commercial solar PV in the UK.
Experience with DNO processes and UK planning requirements.
Familiarity with PV design and proposal software.
Strong budget, variation and margin management.
Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Manage portfolio of commercial solar PV installations from pre-construction to completion.
Coordinate programmes, installation teams, subcontractors and procurement.
Control budgets, variations and margins.
Define technical design requirements and system sizing.
Review PV designs and yield models for buildability and performance.
Oversee DNO processes and planning considerations.
Support sales with site surveys, budgets and tenders.
Ensure health and safety on site (CDM 2015) and RAMS reviews.
