Job description
Overview

Lead Solar Electrical Supervisor - We are working with an established and successful Renewable Energy company based in Merseyside involved in the full 360 project lifecycle of Solar PV installations for both domestic and commercial installations up to 1MW. They seek an experienced Lead Solar Electrician/Supervisor to work on large-scale commercial projects and some smaller domestic installations in the Northwest area, with occasional works further afield and nationwide.

You will be responsible for supervising the team, performing full work inspection and auditing.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise the field engineering team on Solar PV installations and Battery Storage systems.
  • Manage delivery of projects from cradle to grave and oversee the team of electricians and roofers, typically 3 to 10 engineers depending on the project size.
  • Coordinate on-site activities for commercial sites (schools, colleges, industrial sites, catteries and kennels) with electricians wiring up and commissioning the systems, and electricians working within smaller domestic properties as applicable.
  • Perform fault finding, troubleshooting and identify technical issues to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Conduct full work inspection and auditing to maintain safety and quality standards.
