Job summary

Infused Solutions is seeking a Lead Software Test Engineer in Warwickshire with hybrid work (2 days in the office). You will own software testing for mobile apps, embedded software, web apps, cloud services, and APIs, leading testing initiatives and defining standards to ensure top quality.

You will mentor colleagues and collaborate with developers, hardware engineers and product stakeholders. The role blends hands-on testing with technical leadership in a fast-paced environment, offering

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Software Test Engineer, Senior Test Engineer, or Lead Test Engineer roles.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience creating/executing test plans, cases, and regression suites.
• Experience testing mobile, web, and REST APIs.
• Familiar with Docker and test management tools like TestRail.
• ISTQB certification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and own software testing across mobile, web, embedded, and REST APIs.
• Define testing strategy, standards and best practices.
• Create/maintain test plans, test cases, and regression suites.
• Mentor junior testers and collaborate with developers and stakeholders.
• Support CI/CD, automate testing where possible, and improve release confidence.
• Document outcomes and troubleshoot issues with the team.
