Leonardo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer – Information Advantage for UK hybrid work across multiple sites. You will combine hands-on software engineering with technical leadership to guide design, integration and delivery of secure, high-quality software for Aerospace, Defence and Security applications.

You will lead a team, drive architecture decisions and promote modern engineering practices, including CI/CD and DevSecOps, while working with systems engineers, data scientists and customers

Qualificações

• Proven track record delivering complex software components.
• Experience leading software teams and reviews.
• Strong understanding of secure software development.

Responsabilidades

• Lead day-to-day technical delivery of software.
• Design, develop, integrate and test complex software.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to engineers.
• Own detailed software design and architecture.
• Lead code and design reviews.
• Collaborate with systems engineers and customers.
• Apply Secure by Design practices and DevSecOps.
• Promote automation and CI/CD.
