Compensation: Up to £200k + Exceptional Bonus/Benefits Package

Skills: Strong knowledge of Python, extensive experience building and architecting risk platforms, cloud exposure is a huge plus!

My client is looking for the top 1% of software engineers with risk experience to work on a brand-new greenfield risk platform for a top fintech firm!

This team comprises some of Europe's best computing professionals, working in an elite, flat-structured environment. You have the chance to make a significant impact and push technology to its limits!

Role Responsibilities (Full spec available):

• Leading a team of engineers developing and maintaining a zero-downtime, cloud-based risk platform
• Contributing to architecture decisions and collaborating with stakeholders
• Working extensively in Python
• Collaborating with passionate technologists

Successful Candidates:

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on risk platforms
• Proven experience with modern Python
• Strong computer science fundamentals
• Knowledge of risk sensitivity, VaR, Black-Scholes, etc.
• Experience mentoring other developers
• Understanding of scalability and performance optimization
• Experience in the trading space is a plus
