They are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Python / VueJS Tech Lead to join a dynamic development team on a initial 3-month contract basis. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and deliver a complex project.

Role Overview:

As the Tech Lead , you will play a key role in overseeing the architecture, development, and delivery of a high-impact Python web based application and project. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers, ensuring best practices, and collaborating closely with product managers and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.

You will be expected to drive technical excellence, mentor developers, and guide the team to overcome technical challenges. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into effective, well-architected solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a technical team, ensuring high standards of technical quality and efficiency.
• Design and architect scalable, maintainable, and reliable software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle from concept through to delivery.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security protocols, and industry best practices.
• Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to performance, scalability, and robustness.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in Python development and software engineering.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to stakeholders and executive leadership.

Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Python development, with a deep understanding of Python frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI).
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring teams of engineers.
• VueJS Web app development + 3rd party tool integrations
• Strong background in software architecture, system design, and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Ideally GCP).
• Expertise in API design and implementation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., PyTest, UnitTest) and version control (Git).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) is a plus.
