As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Mansart Fund Management Tech, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You will be a core technical contributor responsible for building critical technology solutions across multiple areas within various business functions to support the firm’s objectives.

Team Overview:

You will be a front office lead developer embedded within a rapidly growing fund management business at JP Morgan. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, structurers, operations, and technologists to scale this business. Your role involves understanding business needs, coordinating with technology teams, and enhancing our software platform, which supports fund customization and infrastructure services for clients in regulated structures.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, troubleshoot, and implement innovative software solutions.
2. Develop, review, and debug secure, high-quality production code.
3. Identify automation opportunities and resolve recurring issues to improve operational stability.
4. Lead communities of practice to promote awareness and adoption of new technologies.
5. Serve as the front office lead developer within the Mansart technology team.
6. Own and deliver specific projects aligned with the global program of work.
7. Develop platform components, automation, and visualization tools for the Mansart business.
8. Utilize principal technologies including Python, TypeScript (React), C#, and SQL.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and substantial experience in the field.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
• Advanced proficiency in Python.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading an agile team utilizing Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder reporting.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

• Experience working in a front office environment within financial services.
• Knowledge of Python, TypeScript, React, C#, and SQL.
