Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to drive RX Logic integration across R&D, Manufacturing and Regulatory systems. You will architect robust API patterns (REST, GraphQL, JSON) and own end-to-end technical solutions while enforcing security, privacy, and compliance in a global pharmacovigilance SaaS platform.

You will lead a team, mentor engineers, and collaborate with Product Owners to translate business requirements into scalable, cloud-native software across Azure/Google Cloud

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• 5+ years designing modern application architectures (SOA, API-centric, 12-Factor) and delivering cloud-native solutions on Azure or Google Cloud.
• Proven experience architecting and building API integration patterns (REST, GraphQL, JSON).
• Hands-on full-stack engineering (TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Next.js/React) in a DevSecOps culture (CI/CD, TDD, Kubernetes).
• Background in data engineering (Oracle, SQL, ETL) with GxP and GDPR data governance.

Responsibilities

• Architect robust API patterns to connect RX Logic with upstream/downstream systems.
• Design and build scalable full-stack solutions embedding security and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with product owners and designers to translate requirements into engineering plans.
• Lead and coach engineers within the Product Safety team and share best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement including AI-enabled integrations and modern delivery practices.
